Rest in Peace, Pope Francis

The staff and members of the Indiana Catholic Conference mourn the passing of the Holy Father, Pope Francis, who passed into eternal life on Monday, April 21, 2025. We remember the Holy Father as a humble shepherd and friend to the poor. Of particular importance for our work, he reminded the Church of the obligation to "meddle" in politics as a form of charity.

May his teaching continue to inspire the faithful of the Church and the whole world for generations to come, and let us pray for the repose of his soul.

+Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.+
