Indiana Catholic Conference Structure

March for immigrant rightsThe Indiana Catholic Conference was formed to “present to all the people of Indiana a cooperative spirit and a helping hand in their common effort to provide a full and productive life for everyone…The Indiana Catholic Conference will cooperate with all other religious and secular organizations in fostering these highest standards of health, education, welfare and general civic excellence for all the citizens of Indiana.” [Preamble to Code of By-Laws]

The Indiana Catholic Conference Board of Directors consists of all Bishops of the Province and a layperson from each diocese appointed by the Bishop.

The Indiana Catholic Conference office is located in Indianapolis, Indiana and is staffed by an Executive Director and Administrative Assistant. The staff is supported by a diocesan coordinator, appointed by the Bishop, and an advisory council from each diocese.
